The high school athletes of the week are Kaden Steckbauer and Riley McCann

Kaden is on the varsity track team and his coach is Amber Damitz.

Kaden is very hard working, respectful, and responsible member of the boys track team. He always puts forth 100% effort at practice and meets. Kaden is a team player and when looking for another member of the 4×800 relay team, he stepped in to help his teammates out and be part of the team. Kaden is also part of the 4×400 team, which is made up of all freshman boys. The whole relay team has shown great improvement and dedication to the season.  Kaden participates in the triple jump, the 4×400 relay, and the 4×800 relay.

Riley is on the varsity track team and her coach is Andrea Kohler.

Riley is a strong leader for the team.  She comes to practice every day and works extremely hard. Riley’s hard work and dedication has paid off throughout the season as she has improved in her sprints and jumps. Riley always has a positive attitude which is inspiring to the rest of the team.  It has been a pleasure working with Riley.

Montana Grabowsky is the club student of the week. Montana is in Yearbook and her adviser is Paula Sharon.

Montana really goes the extra mile with the Yearbook. She spent many hours checking spacing and proofing our pages. She is always willing to help the new member to better themselves. She does all of this with a kindness and a smile on her face.
