Gregory Groat, 63

Gregory Groat, of Summit Lake, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family. He was 63 years old. He was born on April 14, 1955, in Libertyville, Illinois a son of Ethel (Cegielski) Groat and the late Richard Groat.

He worked as a body and fender man in the automobile industry in Illinois before retiring to Summit Lake.

Survivors including his mother are five brothers, Mark Groat of Summit Lake, Michael (Mary) Groat of Wausau, Thomas Groat of Tulsa, OK, David (Sarah) Groat of Combined Locks, Richard (Kerry) Groat of Pearson; two sisters, Sharon (Christopher) Borovka of Grayslake, Illinois, Judith (Dean) Jahnke of Bear Creek.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother.

Per his wishes no services will be held.
