Health In Motion Celebrates Grand Opening, Chamber Ribbon Cutting

Ribbon cutting ceremony for Health in Motion Antigo.

Health In Motion in Antigo celebrated their grand opening Thursday, April 26 with demonstrations, an Antigo/Langlade County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting, tours, refreshments and more.

During the event, staff demonstrated Trigger Point Dry Needling. Dry Needling is a very hot topic in physical therapy and extremely effective when included with a plan of care.

Formerly known as Spine & Sport Physical Therapy Specialists, Health In Motion started over 23 years ago. They have grown to 7 locations across Central and Northern Wisconsin. The name change process was started a little over a year ago about the time that the Antigo location, formerly Antigo Total Therapy & Rehab Center, was purchased. All 7 locations’ names were changed to avoid confusion, but most importantly, to depict better what they do. They work on the entire muscular skeletal system – not just the spine and athletes.

All locations are outpatient clinics owned and operated by therapists. The therapists are experts at assessing movement, easing pain, and empowerment to optimize function. Health In Motion knows solving your pain problem may take more than just one type of treatment. This is why they artfully combine the treatment of spinal manipulation, corrective exercise, nervous system re-education, trigger point dry needling, tool assist soft tissue manipulation, and joint mobilization to get your life back. No referral is needed and they offer free 15 minute screenings with no obligation.

Antigo staff includes Brenda Will, Physical Therapist; Austen Jentges, Doctor of Physical Therapy; Terri Bryden, Front Office Coordinator; Gayle Servi, Physical Therapy Tech; and Barb Klasinski, Director of Marketing and PR.
