Dawn Marie Campbell, 59
Dawn Marie Campbell, of Summit Lake, died May 31, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital at the age of 59.
She was born March 25, 1959 in Antigo, daughter of the late Don and Judith (Tibbits) Fraley. She married Steven Campbell on June 30, 1979, and he survives.
A lifelong area resident, Dawn graduated from Antigo High School in 1977, and later attended Nicolet College. She was a homemaker and mother, and she was also employed as an Antigo High School guidance secretary for 20 years.
She was a flower gardener, and grew beautiful roses, geraniums, petunias, and other varieties. Her family will also remember her excellent cooking. She also enjoyed fishing, attending snowmobile races, and particularly loved her dog Sadie. She cherished her longtime friendships and loved deeply.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Kristen (Trevor) Pyle of Denver; a son, Richard (Katie) Campbell of De Pere; four grandchildren, Luke, Noah, Killian, and Flynn; a sister, DeAnna (Rick) Lutzow of Antigo; a brother, Tim (Carol) Fraley of Hermitage, TN; her father-in-law, Paul Campbell of Crandon; a sister-in-law, Julie (Andrew) Campbell Enerson of Hazelhurst; and two uncles, Alfred Fraley of Georgetown, CO and Andy Fraley of Fond du Lac.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Charles “Bud” Volm; three brothers, Rick, Todd, and Pete Fraley; a sister-in-law, Linda Fraley; and her niece Samantha Fraley.
A memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Monday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Rev. Dick Kendall officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery. A memorial will be established in Dawn’s name.
