Gale Christine Lewis, 73

Gale Christine Lewis, of Elton, died June 30, 2018 at her residence under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 73 years old.
She was born July 29, 1944 in Elton, daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Bailey) Robinson. She married Robert “Dean” Lewis on January 7, 1964 in St. Louis, and he preceded Gale in death on April 11, 2013.
After residing in St. Louis, she moved to the Sheboygan area where she raised her family. Ten years ago, Gale returned to Elton with her husband.
Gale was a homemaker, and she loved entertaining family and friends at her home. She was also a flower gardener and excellent cook.
Survivors include her son Robert Lewis, Jr. of Elton; 2 sisters, Glenna Robinson of White Lake, and Karen (Edward) Sellers of White Lake; her in-laws, Dale (Sandy) Lewis of Elton, Nancy Lewis of Antigo, Doug Lewis of South Carolina, and Darrell (Florence) Lewis of Argonne; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Lewis; 2 infant siblings, Florence and Orville Robinson; 6 additional sisters, Ardith Gilliam, Raeburn DeHart, Geneva Powell, Mary Messer, Carol Guthrie, and Barbara Valentine; 4 additional brothers, William, Ralph, Larry, and Dwayne Robinson; her mother and father-in-law Doris and Raymond Lewis; and a brother-in-law, Dallas Lewis.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Four Corners Assembly of God, with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 Friday at the church.
