Orville E. DeHart, 78

Orville E. DeHart, of White Lake, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at his home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 78 years old. He was born on March 1, 1940, in White Lake, a son of the late Acie and Iva (Whitt) DeHart. He married Carol Fultz-Bailey on April 13, 1960, in Waukegan.
Mr. DeHart worked in the woods with his father as a logger, trucker, and loader operator. He worked for North Shore Railroad in Waukegan for about a year. From 1988 to 1992 he was a long distance truck driver for Wausau Carriers and Vern’s in Antigo. He then went to work for Johnson Coil as a laminator and coil cutter from 1993 until 2010. In addition, he cleaned at the Vulcan for eight and a half years.
He was a member of Four Corners Assembly of God in White Lake.
Mr. DeHart enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a musician and member of the Gary DeHart Basement Band. He enjoyed Wednesday night music with friends and family.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four sons, Andy DeHart (Freda) of Cedarburg, Randy DeHart of Antigo, Adam (Melissa) DeHart of White Lake and Aaron DeHart of White Lake; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four brothers, James “Porky” DeHart of White Lake, Troy (Tammy) DeHart of Antigo, Gary (Wendy) DeHart of White Lake and Lyle (Mary) DeHart of Elton; a sister-in-law, Patricia DeHart of White Lake.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, LaVern and William; a sister, Eileen Brown; and a grandson, Acie DeHart.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018, at 12 p.m. at Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in the Langlade Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
