Warrant of the Week:

The Antigo Police Department holds a warrant for Randy C. Waubanascum d.o.b. 03-09-88.  The warrant is for failing to appear in court on charges of Resisting/Obstructing an Officer, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Bail Jumping. Those with information on his whereabouts are urged to call the Antigo Police Department at (715) 627-6411 or Langlade County Crimestoppers at 715-627-NAIL (6245).  Callers may remain anonymous. You can also view a list of all warrants at our website, www.antigo-city.org. With your cooperation we can continue to protect and serve the City of Antigo.

K-9 Brat Fry:

The Antigo Police Department will be holding its annual brat fry fundraiser at Lakeside Market, downtown Antigo Friday, August 17th from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This will be our fourth year holding the event and we hope it will be another success. The brat fry is the only large scale fundraising event for the City’s K-9 program. We will be selling our Antigo Police Department K-9 coffee mugs and accepting donations during the event.  There will also be a K-9 demonstration at noon.

In 2018 alone our K-9 has been involved in over 50 traffic stops, and multiple Antigo School District “sniffs,” along with sniffs at the Elcho and White Lake Schools. Our program has assisted other outside agencies and has been requested by the Tomahawk School District all in an attempt to locate, remove, and raise awareness towards drug use in our community. Several items of drug paraphernalia and multiple types of drugs have been removed from the streets with your continued support.
