Janice “Jan” Shannon, 73

Janice “Jan” (Lambert) Shannon died August 17, 2018 at her residence in the Town of Evergreen. She was 73 years old.
She was born June 12, 1945 in Antigo, daughter of the late John and Robbie (Filyes) Lambert. She was a graduate of White Lake High School. She married William “Willy” Shannon on Nov. 1, 1963 in Port Washington, and he survives.
Jan retired after 26 years of employment at Amron. She enjoyed spending time with her family, making crochet rugs, gardening, reading, and was a movie buff.
In addition to her husband, survivors include 3 children, Cathy (Pat) Brooks of Menasha, Cindy (Tom) Conto of White Lake, and Dewey (Candy) Shannon of White Lake; 5 grandchildren, Ashely (Charles) Kersten of Neenah, Cody Bosshart of Menasha, Erica Conto of Overland, MO, Brandon Peterson (Alexandra Schlub and son Liam) of Antigo, Linsey Shannon of White Lake; 4 sisters, Judy Spangenberg of California, Pam (Mike) Klement of Polar, Terri (Mike) Johnson of Antigo, Kim (Doug Statzney) Lambert of Antigo; 4 brothers, John (Connie) Lambert of Clintonville, Tim (Gail) Lambert of Winneconne, Scott (Wendy) Lambert of Elton,Todd Lambert of Elton and a brother-in-law, Bruce Carlson of Townsend, WI.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carla; her brother, William; sister in law, Barbara Carlson; 2 brothers in law, Pat Shannon and George Spangenberg; mother in law, Gwendoline Shannon; niece, Ashley Steckbauer; and infant nephew Mark Lambert.
A private service for family and friends will take place.
