ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS

Tuesday, September 18^th

3:18 PM Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 64 reporting that they had found some drug paraphernalia. Officers were given a marijuana pipe that they were going to use for training purposes.

11:34 PM Officers responded to a call from a female on Badger Avenue requesting that an officer come to her residence because her 38 year old son had overdosed on Adderall and he was acting weird. The caller told officers that he was walking in circles, talking to himself and hadn’t slept in a week. She also felt that he may be using meth. The male subject denied everything to officers. He was searched and nothing illegal was found. He told officers that he had no thoughts of harming anyone or himself. He went for a walk to cool down.

Wednesday, September 19^th

7:49 AM Officers responded to a report of a fender bender at Clermont Street and 5^th Avenue. Vehicle 1 was southbound on Clermont Street, stopped at a traffic light at 5^th Avenue near the centerline. Vehicle 2 was southbound on Clermont Street, behind Vehicle 1. The female driver of Vehicle 2 stated that she didn’t see a right turn signal from Vehicle 1 and pulled up next to Vehicle 1 to make a right turn, westbound on 5^th Avenue. The female driver of Vehicle 1 said that her turn signal was activated and she attempted to turn right onto 5^th Avenue. Vehicle 1 struck Vehicle 2 in the driver’s side front fender and front bumper, causing damage. Vehicle 1 sustained damage to the passenger side front fender, front and rear passenger doors. There were no injuries.

9:13 PM Officers responded to a 911 call from a male reporting that someone hit his gray 2006 Dodge Ram. The caller told officers that he saw the vehicle go three blocks down on Pine Street, but then lost it. He could not give officers a vehicle description. There were no injuries. Officers located parts in the road. They were placed into evidence. Officers were able to locate the striking vehicle at a residence on Pine Street. The 48 year old male driver of the striking vehicle stated to officers that he knew he hit something, but didn’t think it was a big deal.

Thursday, September 20^th

2:18 PM Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle from a male on 6^th Avenue.

 Friday, September 21^st

2:42 AM Officers received a call from a male reporting that his bike was stolen from his residence on 6^th Avenue. The bike was described as a red NEXT Aggressor with a loose left handle grip and a bent tire.

3:47 AM Officers were out with a vehicle behind an area business on S. Superior Street. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and a probation hold. He was transported to Corrections.

5:00 PM Officers referred a male student for having a dangerous weapon other than a firearm, on school premises at Antigo High School.

5:03 PM Officers cited a student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.

5:44 PM Officers referred a male student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.

Saturday, September 22^nd

1:58 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. N. The male driver was cited for operating after suspension, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. A female passenger was under the influence, she was placed on a probation hold due to comments of self-harm that she made and taken to Langlade Hospital. Once she was medically cleared, she agreed to go to jail. She was taken to Corrections.

Sunday, September 23^rd

10:43 AM Officers responded to a call from an area establishment on Deleglise Street reporting that a male subject who had been in their restroom for quite some time was now outside and may possibly need medical attention. They believed he may have been taking drugs in the restroom. Officers found nothing in the bathroom or on the male subject. It was unknown if the male was having a medical or drug related issue. He was able to talk, but was lethargic.

8:12 AM Officers were out with a suspicious vehicle on Graham Avenue. The vehicle was parked, running, on the dead end behind North Elementary School. The four occupants in the vehicle stated that they had just come back from a “walk” on the trails. Officers got consent to search the vehicle. They located a small bag of marijuana shake in the glove box. The bag was destroyed.

LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS

Wednesday, September 19^th

 5:11 PM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that a silver Navigator was crossing the centerline and hitting the gravel, going from 35 to 50 MPH, while southbound on Cty. Rd. A. The caller gave officers the license plate number. Officers had received numerous complaints about the female registered owner of the vehicle. 9/22/18 Officers located the vehicle at Hwy. 55 and North Rollingstone Lake Road. Officers got consent to search the vehicle. Nothing was located. The female subject was referred for criminal operating without a license.

10:01 PM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that he was in a rollover accident on Cty. Rd. S. He said that he had swerved to miss a deer and ended up flipping his car when it hit the ditch. He was the only occupant of the vehicle and was not injured. The vehicle was towed.

 Saturday, September 22^nd

1:28 PM Officers received a call from a female reporting that her 22 year old daughter had been scammed on Facebook. She was friended by a “Marie” who later told her that she had won a lottery. Dispatch then talked to the caller’s daughter who said that she gave “Marie” her name, phone number, email address, home address, photo, her driver’s license number and where she worked. She did not give the female subject any banking information. Officers told the female to block the female subject on Facebook. Officer’s then talked with the female’s father and discussed options for protecting her identity.

Sunday, September 23^rd

2:10 PM A female subject came to the Safety Building to report that her house on Evergreen Road was broken into the night before. The front door was kicked, breaking the door and damaging the door jam. The female told officers that she did not believe that entry was made because when she got home, the door was still closed. She also noticed that her air conditioning unit was knocked in and laying on the floor inside. The incident had occurred sometime between 12:10 PM the day before and 1:30 AM that morning. The female did not believe that anything was missing from her house.

Tuesday, September 25^th

8:59 PM Officers responded to a call from a first responder who reported that he had witnessed a vehicle miss a turn and crash in the ditch on Hwy. 64. The caller told officers that there were no injuries, the vehicle appeared undamaged and the driver did not seem impaired. The driver indicated to officers that he was coming home from work and misjudged the curve. The male subject was issued a 15 day correction notice for operating while suspended.

Wednesday, September 26^th

9:25 AM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that a vehicle crossed the centerline on Cty. Rd. A and struck his vehicle. There were no injuries.
