Joyce Schultz, of Antigo, died Monday, October 22, 2018, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 83 years old. She was born on August 8, 1935, in Mt. Horeb, a daughter of the late Aldro and Ruby (Barsness) Johnson. She married Neal Schultz on November 26, 1954, in Mt. Horeb. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2014.

She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, sketching and spending time with her grandchildren and her buddy, Petey.

Survivors include a daughter, Lori (Jim) Coates of Mexico; a son, Jeff (Helen) Schultz of Antigo; three grandchildren, Aubrey (Phil) Fischer, Katie Parizek and Cheyanne (Jesse) Erickson; and six great-grandchildren, Alex, Isaak, Gabby, Annabelle, Ayleigha and Capri.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Hellenbrand; two great-grandsons, Walker and Andy; two brothers and four sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at the town of Norwood Cemetery.
