ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Tuesday, October 23rd
3:54 PM Officers referred a male student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.
3:59 PM Officers referred a male student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.
4:01 PM Officers cited a male student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.
4:04 PM Officers referred a male student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.
4:53 PM Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at an address on Clermont Street.
7:14 PM Officers responded to a call from an area business on S. Superior Street reporting a hit and run accident that had occurred between 6:50 PM and 7:10 PM. A maroon Saturn hit their vacuum leaving damage to the building. The vehicle’s side mirror was left behind and a witness said that the vehicle had a flat tire. The vehicle had left going eastbound on Cty. Rd. Y. 10/24/18 12:30 AM The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office called with a female subject on the phone, saying that she had borrowed her car, the maroon Saturn, to a male friend. When he got arrested, his girlfriend started driving the car. She had not gotten permission to drive the car and the female caller told officers that the female had been uncooperative in returning the vehicle. Officers then told the female caller that the vehicle had been in an accident and officers were investigating.
Wednesday, October 24th
10:57 AM Officers received a phone call from a female on Deleglise Street reporting that she had received a phone call advising her that someone had stolen her identification in Texas and there were now federal warrants out for her arrest. The female subject was very upset. Officers told the female subject that it was a scam. The female told officers that she was going to go and talk with someone at her bank about the incident.
Thursday, October 25th
1:51 AM Officers assisted with a medical call at an area business on 5th Avenue for a 33 year old female who was defecating and urinating on the floor. The reporting person told officers that the female was not unconscious, but was very close. A preliminary breath test showed a blood alcohol content of .193. Officers received a signed warrant for a blood draw. The female subject was arrested for felony bail jumping. She was transported to Corrections.
9:25 PM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that her 16 year old son was biking southbound on Clermont Street, somewhere between Mendlik Street and the Police Department, when he ran into a wire. The wire was the height of his neck, knocking his head backwards, resulting in a road rash like mark on his neck. The male victim said that the wire was hard to see, but he believed it was from a pole. He denied emergency medical assistance. Officers found a wire down at Clermont Street and Pierce Avenue. A phone line was broken from a residence on Pierce Avenue and hanging low. Officers fixed the wire.
Sunday, October 28th
12:52 AM Officers were out behind an area business on 5th Avenue with a female subject. The female was arrested on a Marathon County Sheriff’s Office warrant and a Department of Corrections warrant. She was also referred for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Corrections.
9:03 PM Officers were at a residence on 10th Avenue. A male subject was arrested for being party to a crime – delivery of meth and a probation hold. A second male subject was arrested for being party to a crime – delivery of meth and a probation hold. A third male subject was arrested for being party to a crime – delivery of meth and on a Department of Corrections warrant. A female subject was arrested for being party to a crime – delivery of meth and a probation hold.
LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS
Thursday, October 25th
9:57 AM Officers responded to report of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 52 and Hwy. 64 between a semi and a car. One female subject had a possible injury.
9:41 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at North Avenue and Charlotte Street. The 17 year old female driver was cited for operating under the influence of a controlled substance. The female had admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving. The female subject was first taken to Langlade Hospital for a blood draw and then released to her mother. Two female passengers that were in the vehicle were transported to the Safety Building and then turned over to their father.
Friday, October 26th
6:32 PM Officers received a call from Langlade Hospital reporting that there was a male subject in the emergency room that had been bitten in the index finger by a bat outside his residence the night before. The bat had flown away.
Saturday, October 27th
5:11 PM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that his Cabella’s double tree blind, 2 Mr. Buddy heaters, 2 Cabella’s chairs, DC tv and electrical system were taken from public hunting land off of Bogus Road. The suspect vehicle was described as a blue Chevy pickup truck with a blue topper.
11:03 PM Officers were out with a vehicle in the ditch at Hwy. 64 and 5th Avenue Road. The 37 year old male driver was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicle was towed.
Monday, October 29th
11:17 PM Officers responded to a 911 call from a 17 year old male who was crying and said that his mother was holding him against his will. When asked what his address was, he said that he didn’t know because he had just moved there. He only knew it was Bear Lake Road. The caller told officers that his mother and another male subject that lived there sold meth. Officers then received a call from the 17 year old’s grandmother in Arizona who was very concerned for her grandson as he had called her crying. During a pat down, two pipes were located on the male subject which later tested positive for the presence of meth. The female subject was arrested for possession of meth. The male subject was arrested for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were transported to Corrections.
Tuesday, October 30th
4:04 AM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting an accident on Hwy. 55, one mile south of Cty. Rd. K, on the west side of the road. The female caller’s aunt had swerved to miss a deer and her car went into the ditch. There was no road blockage and no injuries. The vehicle had significant damage.
9:42 AM Officers responded to a call from the principal of Elcho School reporting that a 17 year old male student had gotten into a fight with another student and then left the building. The male student was cited for disorderly conduct.
12:37 PM Officers were at a residence on Rocky Ripps Road. A male subject was arrested on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear – disorderly conduct.
