CoVantage Credit Union Plans Branch in Suamico
For Antigo Times
CoVantage Credit Union has announced plans for a branch in the Village of Suamico.
CoVantage has purchased a building on a 10-acre parcel located just off US Highway 41 on Sunset Beach Road, where they will open a future Suamico location. The main structure that occupies the space will be renovated. The financial cooperative anticipates the branch will be approximately 8,000 square feet and will provide four drive-up lanes, six teller windows, safe deposit boxes, and an ATM that can be used surcharge free by all CoVantage members. The newly renovated branch will offer a full line of consumer, mortgage, and business loan and deposit services, and is expected to open in the late fall of 2019.
Charlie Zanayed, CEO of CoVantage Credit Union shared, “We feel thankful for the opportunity to renovate and utilize an existing building to be able to conveniently serve CoVantage members. CoVantage opened our first branch in Shawano County in 1998, and we added a second Shawano location in 2013. Both locations are extremely busy. Our records show that many of our members who use the Shawano branches live or work to the east and are coming to CoVantage from northern Brown County. We are thrilled to provide a more convenient option for these members and for the opportunity to serve this community.”
CoVantage Credit Union is a community-chartered financial cooperative headquartered in Antigo, Wisconsin.
