Garth Harvey Reissmann, age 76 of Antigo, formerly of Mattoon, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Antigo, under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice, Antigo.

He was born on April 24, 1942 in West Bend, son of the late Harvey and Rosella (Cook) Reissmann.  He served his country in the US Navy.

Garth enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and going to Bakers and Moose Lakes.  He loved to spend time with his children.

Survivors include his four children, Brenda Lee Reissmann (James Spinnato) of Shawano, Paula (Charlie) Jackson of Land O’ Lakes, Gary (Rena) Reissmann of Gleason, and Michele “Shelly” (fiancée Bill Bailey) Reissmann of Antigo;11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judith Zarda of Embarrass, and Robin Rathsack of Shawano.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey  and Rosella, and one brother, Richard.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Church of the Nazarene, Mattoon.  Rev. Robert Hess will officiate.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 – 8 PM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood, and on Friday from 10 AM until the time of service at the church.
