Gloria Jean Arndt, 78
Gloria Jean Arndt, age 78, of the Town of Polar, died Friday, December 21, 2018 at her home.
Gloria was born on October 28, 1940 in Kent to the late George and Mima (Arrowood) Spencer.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Antigo High School.
On November 24, 1956 Gloria was united in marriage to Donald Arndt in Kenosha.
Gloria worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory, Peoples Bank, Antigo High School, and Amron Corporation.
She enjoyed being a part of her knitting circle. She was an avid crafter and was a part of Ye Olde Craft Shop and participated in area craft shows both with her knitting and wood working.
In addition to her husband, Don, Gloria is survived by her children, Sandra (Richard) Holbrook of White Lake, Laura (Ben) Weidling of Columbia Falls, MT, Donna (JR Rasmussen) Schultz of Antigo, Dave (Carol) Arndt of Antigo, Charles (Rachelle) Arndt of Antigo, Julie (Plug) Webb of White Lake, Amy Arndt of Wausau, 16 grandchildren, Will (Samantha) Holbrook, Magon (Dustin) Hable, Joe Holbrook, Lorna (Ryan) Colver, Alyssa Weidling (fiancé Gunner), Seth Weidling, Eric Schultz, Shannon Schultz (Travis Widder), Katie Arndt, Michael Arndt, Matthew Arndt, Jedidiah (Jessie) Arndt, Brittany (Derek) Lang, Brad (Dana) Bina, Amanda (Josh) Rainer, Timothy (Nikki) Dehart, 23 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Nan, Bithe, Catherine and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Joseph “JJ” Arndt and many brothers and sisters.
In honoring Gloria’s wishes no services will be held.
