Paul Pergande, 85

Paul Pergande, of Antigo, died Monday, December 17, 2018, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill. He was 85 years old. He was born on August 8, 1933, in Monico, a son of Carl and Evelyn (Barnowsky) Pergande. He married Bonnie Neuman on July 23, 1983, at St. John Lutheran Church in Merrill. She survives.

He was a graduate of Three Lakes High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Paul operated a dairy farm in the Merrill area for a number of years before moving to Antigo in 1986.

He drove truck for Dart, Ort, and Pioneer Trucking, retiring in 1991.

Survivors including his wife are three step daughters, Debra (Larry) Bergh, Kathleen Daley, Susan Daley all of Merrill; two step sons, Timothy Daley and Steven (Charlotte) Daley all of Merrill; a sister, Dorothy Pergande of California; three brothers, George Pergande of Tennesee, Neil Pergande of Larson, Charles (Suzanne) Pergande of Schofield; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo with Rev. David Karolus officiating.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Friday.

The Antigo Veterans will conduct military honors following services at the church.
