12-13-18 Antigo Wrestling vs Mosinee Dual Meet Results

Action started at 160 pounds, where Josh Heuss recovered from an early deficit to control the final two periods and get the decision victory.

Following a loss at 170 that put Mosinee ahead, Antigo went on a roll, Korbin Kreuger scored a technical fall by overwhelming his opponent 16-1. Collinn Eldridge needed only a minute and four seconds to secure a few takedowns and eventually pin his opponent. Nick Roller kept the streak going by securing an early takedown and turn that led to a pin in only 47 seconds.

Talik Bussey and Seth Beaber each received forfeits to push Antigo’s lead to 32-6. Following setbacks at 113 and 120, Logan Edwards started the next Antigo run with a first period pin, followed by an exciting match from Jaden Schoeneck, who overcame an early 4-0 deficit by scoring 11 of the next 13 points before pinning his opponent in the second period.

Ben Stimac continued his impressive senior season with a first period pin, followed by Dylan Warax wrestling a very smart, controlled match that ended with him achieving a second period pin. A loss at 152 ended the dual meet at 56-22 in favor of the Red Robins.

Coming up soon for Antigo is the first home dual of the year on Friday, December 21st. Join the team as they celebrate Parents night with T-shirts for takedowns, where after every match gift wrapped t-shirts will be tossed into the crowd for each Antigo takedown. Wrestling starts at 7:00 p.m.
