All Saints First Grade Students Use STEM Bins

All Saints Catholic School first grade students had the opportunity to use STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) bins in as part of their morning routine. STEM bins are plastic school boxes filled with an engineering manipulative, such as Legos, pattern blocks, base ten blocks. unifix cubes, toothpicks, playdough, and wooden building blocks. Students are engaged in creative, complex tasks and are encouraged to think like inventors.
