Mary Lynn Arrowood, 58

Mary Arrowood, of Antigo, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at home under the care of her family. She was 58 years old. She was born on November 5, 1960, in Antigo, a daughter of Joseph and Shirley (Tillman) Meidl. She married Jamie Arrowood on September 11, 1982, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Phlox. He survives.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1979.
For many years Mary and Jamie operated Arrowood’s General Store in Phlox. They left the store in 2000 when they opened Arrowood’s Wildside Meat Processing. A family business that continues today. She was member of St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church in Phlox and served on the funeral dinner committee.
Survivors including her husband are two daughters, Tabytha Arrowood, Eau Claire, Sabrina Arrowood and fiancé Jason Domke Bryant; two sons, Joseph (Wendee) Arrowood, Mattoon, Christopher (April) Arrowood, Phlox; eight grandchildren Kendra, Kaden, Vincent, Fredrick, Augustus, Woodrow, Oliver and Audrey; a nephew, who was like a son to Mary, Mike “Frosty” Meidl; three sisters, Kathleen (Rodney) Keen, Oshkosh, Cheryl (Bob) Guenther, Antigo, Patricia (David) Jakubek, Phlox; five brothers, Donald (Darlene) Meidl, Antigo, John Meidl, Colorado, Rodney (Pamela) Meidl, Antigo, Joseph (Elizabeth) Meidl, Phlox, Robert (Samantha) Meidl, Columbia, Mississippi.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Victoria Meidl.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 12 p.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Edmundo Siguenza officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the church. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
