The Antigo Penguins Competed in the East Divisionals on Saturday, January 26th

The Antigo Penguins along with Rhinelander, Lakeland, Phillips, Tomahawk, Merrill and Medford competed in the East Divisionals meet held in Tomahawk this past weekend. The age 10 & under competed on Saturday, January 26th. Participating swimmers included Sawyer Behm, Rutger Busse, Alexis Federman, Autumn Federman, Allyssa Howard, Evie Lucht, Nolan Lucht, Greyson Reetz, Midori Santiago, Holland Tainter, Layla Tainter, Nate Wild, Maggie Wirtz, Hannah Zanayed and Josh Zanayed. The 11 and older competed on Sunday, January 27th. Participating swimmers included Tristin Arlen, Kiana Arpke, Maggie Baginski, Dawson Behm, Myah Bolder, Mya Burt, Karl Busse, Lola Evans, Avery Federman, Brion Koszarek, Gordon Lucht, Meredith Meidl, Maggie Neufeld, Molly Neufeld, Morgan Rank, Zander Reetz, Ezra Santiago, Chloe Tainter, Makayla Tischendorf, Anna Vandeweerd and Ayda Washatko. The top 9 in each individual event and the top 6 relay teams qualified for Conference which will be held in Lakeland last weekend.
Mya Burt age 11 broke the 11-12 Antigo Swim Club Record in the 100Y IM with a time of 1:10.49.
Mya Burt swam 11-12 state qualifying times in the 50Y Freestyle and the 100Y IM. Holland Tainter swam a 9 year old State Time in the 100Y Breaststroke.

The swimmers received great instruction and support from coaches Janelle Bolder, Michelle Arlen, Vince Federman and Andrew Tainter. The Antigo Penguins took 4th place at the East Divisionals.
