Antigo improved to 3-0 in conference duals with the victory.

Action started at 113 pounds with Conner Dettman securing some early takedowns and pinning his opponent in 1:20.

Sam Hoffman received a forfeit and Logan Edwards lost a decision.

Ben Stimac regained the momentum taking on 6th ranked Dane Higgins. Stimac used six takedowns to power himself to a major decision victory, picking up four team points to put Antigo ahead 16-3.

Dylan Warax lost a hard-fought battle to 12th ranked Andy Poetzl 8-7.

After Jacob Dettman lost via pinfall, Josh Huess used his superior conditioning and strength in a thrilling come from behind victory. After being taken down twice in the first period, Huess was able to ride his opponent out in the second, allowing him to try and score from the bottom down 4-2 in the third. Heuss was able to escape, and with mere seconds remaining, was able to secure a takedown and nearfall to win 8-4.

Jovanni Castaneda lost via fall, and then Korbin Krueger was able to reverse and pin his opponent in the third period to increase Antigo’s lead to 25-18.

Collinn Eldridge added another first period fall to his collection, pinning his opponent in 1:30.

Brady VandeWeerd secured an early takedown before losing via pinfall.

Nick Roller matched up with 4th ranked Jake Rau, losing via pinfall.

Talik Bussey and Seth Beaber won via forfeit to end the match.

Up next for Antigo is a four-team dual meet event on Friday, the 11th. Action will start at 5pm in Stratford, with Antigo facing Stratford, Luxemburg-Casco, and Holman.
