Now that the snowmobile trails are open in Langlade County. The Antigo Police Department would like to remind snowmobilers that the city of Antigo does allow snowmobiles on the road in certain circumstances.

Snowmobiles are allowed to travel from a residence or lodging establishments within the city limits. They must use the shortest distance that is necessary for a person to operate a snowmobile to the trail that is closest to that residence or lodging establishment. It is that person’s responsibility to determine the shortest route.
