Barbara Helen Lund, 84, of Antigo, went to be with our Lord on Friday, February 22, 2019. Barbara was born on November 14, 1934, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Michael and Angeline (Switalski) Burzynski. She married Richard “Dick” Lund on December 29, 1956, at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2012.

She was a graduate of Girls Tech High School in Milwaukee, class of 1952.

Barbara was a member of SS. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Parish.

She devoted her life to her husband of 56 years and to the raising of her five sons. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, music and polka dancing.

Survivors include five sons, James (Bonnie) Lund of Milwaukee, Gary Lund of Hartford, Gregory (Amy) Lund of Wausau, Thomas (Melissa) Lund of Green Bay and Mark (Christine) Lund of Sun Prairie; 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marcy (James) Pagel of Hartford and Angela (Glenn) Gronitz of Milwaukee; and a brother, Thaddeus “Ted” (Vivian) Burzynski of Mankato, Minn.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by four sisters, Irene Guzikowski, Mary Bombinski, Rose Saxton and Florence Tews; and five brothers, Henry, Raymond, Michael, Leonard, and Joseph.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Mathew Simonar officiating. Entombment will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and on Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

A parish wake service will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
