Antigo Police & Langlade County Sheriff Reports for 4/1/19

ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS

Thursday, March 21st

10:14 AM Officers responded to a call from an area business reporting some fraudulent checks.

4:18 PM Officers responded a report of a female subject walking down the middle of the road at Superior Street and 7th Avenue. Officers made contact with the female and advised her of the complaint.

Friday, March 22nd

7:22 AM Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a parked truck at 10th Avenue and Field Street. The female driver of the vehicle was having chest pain.

1:40 PM Officers cited a student for disorderly conduct at Antigo Middle School.

3:12 PM Officers responded to a report of an accident at Elm Street and 7th Avenue. There were no injuries.

4:10 PM Officers responded to a report of a mini school bus that was speeding at 45 MPH and changing lanes, cutting people off while driving southbound on Superior Street. The bus then turned east onto Badger Avenue. The driver was described as an older gentleman with white hair. The caller told officers that there were still children on the bus.

Saturday, March 23rd

11:55 AM Officers responded to a call reporting an accident at an area business on Neva Road. The caller told officers that her daughter’s car was struck and the striking truck had left the scene. Officers were given the license plate number of the striking vehicle. The striking party was cited for hit and run.

3:42 PM Officers responded to a report of children on the roof of a building on 5th Avenue. Officers told the children to get down. They were warned that if they returned they would be cited for trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Sunday, March 24th

2:46 AM Officers stopped a vehicle on Edison Street. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

 Monday, March 25th

7:06 PM Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a two vehicle accident at 1st Avenue and Edison Street. Property damage only.

 

 

LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS

Wednesday, March 20th  

12:02 PM Officers responded to a report of a theft of 15-20 hay bales in the Town of Norwood.

Saturday, March 23rd

11:49 AM Officers responded to a report of a theft from a garage on Cty. Rd. A.

Monday, March 25th

5:11 PM Officer arrested a female subject at a residence on Cty. Rd H on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office body only warrant for failure to appear on misdemeanor bail jumping. She was transported to Corrections.
