Flood Assistance Provided by CoVantage Credit Union
FOR ANTIGO TIMES
CoVantage Credit Union has announced that it will provide special flood assistance loans to those impacted by flood damage. “Part of the CoVantage mission is to work with members experiencing financial challenge. When natural disasters occur that impact our members’ financial well-being, we want to help. We believe this flood assistance loan is a way CoVantage can provide peace of mind during a very stressful time.” said Stacy Bouche, CoVantage Chief Mortgage Lending Officer.
With this program, eligible borrowers can apply for an unsecured loan up to $25,000 to help with expenses related to property flooding, such as repairs, restoration services, or replacement of personal belongings. The special flood assistance loan rate is 4.99% APR and borrowers have up to 4 years to pay it back.
For those that need to borrow more than $25,000, CoVantage is offering no closing costs on a Home Equity Line of Credit at current rates.
Bouche said she hopes the Flood Assistance Program will provide relief to those who need it. “The last thing someone needs when dealing with flood damage is worrying about where they will get the money to repair their home and replace possessions.”
