ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Wednesday, April 17th
7:28 PM Officers responded to a call from an area business reporting the theft of three knives and a carabiner. The business told officers that they had video footage of the incident.
Thursday, April 18th
4:00 AM Officers responded to a call from an employee of an area business on Hwy. 64 reporting a guest that had been told to leave three times, but kept coming back and was currently smoking in the bathroom and soliciting the employees. The subject was arrested and transported to Corrections.
7:30 AM Officers received a report of wallet stolen from a vehicle in the city.
12:16PM Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident on Hwy. 64.
4:08PM Officers cited a student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.
10:04PM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that he heard a crash at a business on 5th Avenue and then saw a male subject wearing black, walking away from the scene and the window was broken. Officers arrested the male subject for disorderly conduct, criminal damage and resisting/obstructing.
Friday, April 19th
2:13PM Officers responded to a report of a hit & run accident at 3rd Avenue and Superior Street. The driver of the striking vehicle was arrested for hit and run. A passenger in the striking vehicle was arrested on a probation hold.
3:04 PM Officers responded a call from a subject reporting that they had cut through a field with their vehicle and got stuck by the skateboard park. They were in pretty deep and left ruts in the field.
5:50 PM Officers responded to a report of an accident at an area business on Hwy. 64. There was minor property damage only.
Saturday, April 20th
2:52 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at 5th Avenue and Edison Street. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated. They were also cited for operating without headlights and were given a written warning for operating without a license.
Sunday, April 21st
12:01 PM Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident on 2nd Avenue. One vehicle had backed out in front of the other. Property damage only.
7:41 PM Officers responded to a report that a subject on bond was at an address on 1st Avenue and was high on meth and marijuana.
Monday, April 22nd
2:24 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at 2nd Avenue and Arctic Street. The driver of the vehicle was given a verbal warning for a defective brake light. A passenger was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant.
LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT
Thursday, April 18th
2:14 AM Officers received a call from the Highway Department informing them that a culvert had failed on Hwy. H and Zaitz Lane. As a result, part of Cty. Rd. H was washed out and completely impassible. Cty Rd. H was closed and the road was barricaded with flashing lights.
7:04PM Officers were out with a car versus deer accident at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. B, south of Elcho.
Saturday, April 20th
12:51 AM Officers responded to a report of a male subject passed out behind the wheel in the county.
Monday, April 22nd
3:22 AM Officers responded to a 911 call from a female reporting that her neighbor’s house was on fire across the field from her. She said it was located on Hill Road, south of Hwy. 52. Officers then received a second call from the female reporting that the house was not on fire. An unattached garage was on fire.
