Terrance “Terry” Mitchell, 78

Terrance “Terry” Mitchell, of White Lake, died Thursday March 28, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 78 years old. He was born on May 26, 1940 in the town of Wolf River, a son of Eugene and Adeline (Swim) Mitchell.
He was a graduate of Zion-Benton High School, Zion, Illinois.
Terry served with the United States Army from 1958 – 1961. He worked for many years as a manager of night clubs and liquor stores in the state of Washington, Alaska, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Russell Illinois. He also worked as an emergency medical technician in Washington and managed a construction crew building prefabricated homes in New Mexico.
In 2002 he retired and returned to White Lake where he volunteered as site manager for the White Lake Food pantry.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Mary Ellen (Harold) Pollitt, June (Marvin) Lundgren, Jerri Burns, Shirley (Ray) Plutchuk, Nancy (Larry) MacDonald; a brother, Charles (Fern) Mitchell.
Graveside services will be held Saturday May 25, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Langlade Cemetery in the town of Wolf River.
