FOR ANTIGO TIMES

Local students and volunteers have done some work during a recent collaboration between the local industry (Rexnord-Merit Gear), STEM Scouts, and the AHS Fab Lab

Students from the Antigo Middle School STEM Scouts (under guidance from local industry professionals) helped develop, design and 3-D print products to solve problems and create solutions that can be used during the manufacturing process.

In the attached picture are some of the items printed at the Fab Lab by local students and an image of some of them working on the project.

The Middle School STEM Scouts also studied radio signals, race cars, and soft robotics during the school year.

The volunteer STEM Lab Managers:

Marshall Williams – Rexnord – Merit Gear

Andy Bauknecht – Rexnord – Merit Gear

John Ronfeldt – AGRA Industries

Special thanks to Dave Kuhr for his willingness to help us during the use of the AHS Fab Lab.
