Julianne Pomasl, 75
Julianne Pomasl, of White Lake, died Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 75 years old. She was born on July 4, 1943, in Antigo, daughter of the late Lawrence and Virginia (Wagner) Pomasl. She graduated from White Lake High School with the class of 1961.
Julie worked for Leo Pomasl at the Red Owl grocery store in White Lake from 1961 until 1976. She then moved out west where she worked in food service at the Salem Institute in Salem, Oregon from 1977 until 2000. She also worked for two years as an activity director for Evergreen Winsor Nursing Home in Salem.
Julie returned to White Lake in 2004 to care for her mother. She was a member of St. James and Stanislaus Parish in White Lake and the Christian Women. She volunteered for the White Lake Food Pantry.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, her computer, playing cards, and her pets.
Julie is survived by many relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by special friend, Keaver Pollard.
A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at the corner of Hwy 64 and Darinski Road in Langlade with Rev. Edmundo Siguenza officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Elton.
Visitation will be Friday, July 5 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
