Lucille Marie Parsons, 92

Lucille Marie Parsons, age 92, of Town of Antigo, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at The Bay at Eastview surrounded by her family.
Lucille was born on July 26, 1926 in Antigo to the late Edward and Marie Anna Elizabeth (Schuman) Brandt.
On June 18, 1949, she was united in marriage to Carl M. Parsons at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Polar. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2002.
Lucille was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1944.
Lucille owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband, which remains in the family with son Lee and his family operating the farm.
A lifelong resident of the area, Lucille had a true dedication to farming and family. She was the leader of Neffswitch Acorns 4-H Club for many years and continued to stay involved in 4-H. Lucille was also a member of AMPI Womens Auxiliary.
Lucille was also employed by JC Penney as a sales cashier.
As a homemaker, she loved to have family and friends for meals. An excellent baker, she made a variety of Christmas cookies and sweets as well as her famous chocolate chip cookies.
Lucille was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Deerbrook and was a member of their Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a daughter Bonnie Dobratz of Wisconsin Rapids, a son Lee (Jo Anne) Parsons of Antigo, 10 grandchildren; Jeffrey (Tammy) Parsons, Kyle “Katherine” Parsons, Hope (Chris) Oswald, Karl (fiancé Katelin Bradley) Parsons, Roby Parsons, Cody (Kimberly) Parsons, Brad (Kari) Dobratz, Bryan (Marissa) Dobratz, Barbara Dobratz, Brent Dobratz, 6 great grandchildren; Dylan Dobratz, Rosalie Dobratz, Carl Parsons, Owen Dobratz, Angeline Parson, Andrew Parsons, and a sister-in-law Margaret Bartz.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lucille was preceded in death by a brother Herbert Brandt, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; Elva Brandt, Bernice and Leroy Pearson, Robert and Delores Kohn, Gordon and Muriel Parsons, Henry and Lorraine Hintz, Cyril Bartz and nephews; Edward Brandt and Larry Parsons.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Deerbrook. Reverend Donald Engebretson will officiate. Visitation will be Friday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Church Cemetery in Polar.
