Mildred A Zimmerman, of Antigo, died Monday, June 24, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 91 years old. She was born on March 2, 1928, in the town of Rolling, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Husnick) Frisch. She married Eugene Zimmerman on July 8, 1953, at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1996.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1946.

As a young lady she was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Company Factory in Antigo. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Harrison for 39 years, retiring in 1992. She moved to Antigo after retirement.

She was a member of SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Kathryn (David) Noskowiak, Antigo, Sharon (Terry) Schroepfer, Bryant, Susan (Roger) Noskowiak, Manitowoc, Ann (Mike) Dolezal, Manitowoc;

five sons, William (Sandy) Zimmerman, Antigo, Dale (Karen) Zimmerman, Antigo, Eugene “Butch” (Sue)Zimmerman, Antigo, Jack (Pam) Zimmerman, Antigo, Scott (Tanya) Zimmerman, Aniwa; 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

three sisters in law, Lorraine Frisch, Marilyn Frisch, both of Antigo, Patricia Frisch, Green Bay.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jill Noskowiak;two sisters Marie (Stanley)Hunt and Cecelia (Rudy) Ourada; five brothers, Maynard (Clara), Floyd, Donald, Norman (Alice), and Roy Frisch.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 28, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Mathew Simonar officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to SS Mary Hyacinth Catholic Church 829 Third Ave. Antigo, WI 54409.
