FOR ANTIGO TIMES

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss improvement plans for a proposed resurface project on US 45 from Rusch Road to County B in the City of Antigo, Langlade County.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Antigo City Hall, 700 Edison Street, Antigo, Wisconsin. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. The remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.

The proposed project is a resurface-level improvement along US 45 from Rusch Road to County B that will include a mill and overlay of the existing pavement as well as sealing the cracks on the center two-way left-turn lane, and replacement of pavement markings.

Adjacent property owners are encouraged to attend the meeting. The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible. Deaf or hard of hearing persons needing assistance should contact the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay system (dial 711). To allow time to arrange for special accommodations needed to participate, please contact Jim Volkmann at (715) 365-5773 no later than three working days prior to the meeting.
