FOR ANTIGO TIMES

It was a great race to mix it up from the bigger meets they’ve been at thus far. It’s always great to drop time and see the improvements each meet, but this meet was also a great experience for some of our athletes to race for the win.

After missing the last meet, Rylee started off quickly and showed all the speed she has. Most importantly, she proved to herself she can compete at any meet she is at. She faded some in the heat, but hung on for tenth. Jena finished in the top 15, dropping more time from the last meet along with Ellie who cut over a minute off of her time at her last meet at Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Alyssa competed in her first meet of the year and did great as well.

Logan and Michael were racing for the win and stayed strong for the first half. Although they faded a bit in the second half, they finished strong, running most of the race together, and both ended up with their fastest times of the season while placing 2nd and 3rd. Karl dropped significant time and finished inside the top 15 at 12th.
