FOR ANTIGO TIMES

Due to the changes with the school consolidation, there will be much more bus activity at the grade schools and especially the Antigo Middle School (AMS). AMS will have a total of 24 buses on 7th Avenue, Clermont Street and the south east corner of 8th/Clermont, particularly in the afternoon.

Parent pick up will occur on Edison Street and the south west corner of 8th/Edison.

AMS is being used as a bus transfer point for elementary school students being bused into the county, the elementary school students will be bused from their elementary school to AMS where they may have to transfer to another bus. The schools will also be placing ID cards on the back packs of the elementary students that are color coded and list their bus route number.

See the attached AMS bus plan for a diagram which shows where each bus number will be parked and the associated color coding.

Please pay close attention to pedestrians and traffic.

Officers WILL be enforcing the 15 mph school zone areas.

Please slow down.
