ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS

Tuesday, September 10th

Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at 5th Avenue and Pine Street. One vehicle was a gray van with two female subjects inside. The other vehicle was a gold van with one male subject inside. Both vehicles were gone upon the officers’ arrival.

Officers responded to a report of an accident at 5th Avenue and Clermont Street. Property damage only.

Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that his vehicle was struck a little while before, while it was parked at an area business on Neva Road or at an area business on Hwy. 64. The male requested that officers check the video surveillance of these businesses.

Thursday, September 12th

Officers received a call from an area business on Superior Street reporting that they had video of a gas drive off from the day before. The vehicle was described as a four door, red Dodge. The caller gave officers the license plate number of the vehicle. Officers contacted the registered owner who said that he would be in the next day to pay for the gas.

Officers responded to a report of approximately eight people fighting at an apartment building on Clermont Street. Officers were told that one of the subjects may have had a gun.

Friday, September 13th

Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 64 reporting that a female subject who had been there seemed intoxicated. The female subject left in an unknown direction of travel in a white Ford Focus. Officers were unable to locate the female subject.

Officers executed a warrant attempt at a residence on Milton Street. A male subject was arrested.

Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the parking lot of an area business on Neva Road.

Officers executed a warrant attempt at a residence on Edison Street. The subject was taken into custody.

Monday, September 16th

Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of an area business on 5th Avenue.

 

 

LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

Wednesday, September 11th

A male came to the Safety Building to speak with a deputy regarding a check that may have been stolen from his mailbox on River Road. The male told officers that he had seen in the paper that someone else in his area had mail stolen.

Officers responded to a report of a refrigerator in the roadway on the east side of Hwy. 45 near Mapleview Road. The Highway Department was notified.

Officers responded to a call from a female reporting a burglary at a house on W. Fifth Avenue Road. A door had been kicked in, a window had been pushed in and several items had been taken.

Officers responded to a report of an accident on Cty. Rd. Y. The driver of the vehicle had swerved to miss a deer and got hung up on the guard rail on the river. The vehicle was towed.

Saturday, September 14th

Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that someone had attempted to gain entry to his camper on Kelly Street. The window was pried open and the screen was knocked out.

Officers responded to a call from a male on Park Road in Deerbrook reporting that he had put his red gym bag on a picnic table approximately two hours ago and now it was gone. The bag contained his wallet with about $100 in cash, his driver’s license and credit cards.

Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that a vehicle in front of her on Langlade Road swerved across the road and drove into the west ditch. She stated that she stopped and asked the male driver if he needed help or an ambulance, but he would not roll down his window and said “no.” When officers arrived, the male subject fled on foot into the woods. The subject was located on 5th Avenue and arrested for operating while intoxicated and resisting arrest. The vehicle was towed.

Monday, September 16th

Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she was rear-ended at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. G. There were no injuries and no road blockage. One subject was taken into custody. One vehicle was towed.

Officers responded to a report of an accident at a residence on Cty. Rd. TT. A male subject ran his van into his residence. An ambulance was requested.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft on Hwy. 64. The keys had been left in the vehicle. The vehicle was last seen heading south on Cty. Rd. P. On-Star was unable to track the vehicle because the account had not been activated. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

Tuesday, September 17th

Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Hwy. 64 and Cty. Rd. HH. One vehicle was in the ditch. Both vehicles were upright. The Antigo Fire Department and Medivac were called to the scene. Both vehicles were towed.
