Calvary Lutheran & St. John’s Lutheran worked together on two community service projects
FOR ANTIGO TIMES
Recently members from Calvary Lutheran Church in Antigo and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Polar gathered together to participate in “God’s Work. Our Hands.” Sunday! What a blessed day they had as they worked together on two service projects for the community. Some of the members tied nine fleece blankets that will be given to children in the Langlade County Foster Care Program. Other members worked in three of the area cemeteries in Antigo picking up the Veteran flags. After the service projects were completed, the members gathered in their fellowship hall for a luncheon and fellowship.
Members from Calvary and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Polar have also enjoyed working together over the years on designing and building creative can structures for the Thrivent “Cans” Hunger event and are currently planning and preparing together for this year’s wonderful event!
