ANTIGO, Wisconsin (Grassroots Newswire) — With the global population expected to reach nearly 10 billion by 2050, the world needs to rise to the challenge of feeding 29 percent more people using the same amount of land and water that we have today. Culver’s of ANTIGO is doing its part to make sure we continue to have enough food to feed a growing population by collaborating with Langlade County FFA through Culver’s Thank You Farmers® Project.

On 11-26-2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Culver’s of ANTIGO will donate 10 percent of its sales to the chapter. Langlade County FFA.

Culver’s Thank You Farmers Project is focused on making sure we have enough wholesome food to serve our growing population by supporting agricultural education programs that encourage smart farming.

“We’re proud to be part of a community like ANTIGO that cares about giving back to local students,” says Culver’s of ANTIGO owner Rick & Cathy LeBrun. “Hosting this Share Night for Langlade County FFA is our way of demonstrating our support for the future generation of agricultural leaders.”

FFA helps this next generation meet the challenges of feeding a growing population by encouraging members to develop their own unique talents and explore their agricultural interests in a broad range of career pathways — from future farmers to biologists to veterinarians.

Culver’s of ANTIGO is proud to be an active member of the community by supporting local charities and organizations since 2003.

“Having access to good food matters to us, our guests and our future,” said Joseph Koss, president and CEO of Culver’s. “It takes a lot of hard work to get food from farm to table, which is why we’re proud that our guests continue to help us support future ag leaders by donating more than $2 million to date to ag education programs.”
