23rd annual event supports Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services

FOR ANTIGO TIMES

ROTHSCHILD, Wis. — The Aspirus Health Foundation will host the 23rd Annual Festival of Trees, a benefit for Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center, Thanksgiving week, November 27th through December 1st. It not only marks the beginning of the holiday season, but more importantly, it helps raise funds that help provide high-quality end-of-life care for people in our community.

The Festival of Trees features three special events at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center – Opening Night Gala, Senior Stroll and two seating’s for the Teddy Bear Breakfast.

In addition to the special events, people can come to Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center during daily hours to stroll through a glittering wonderland of holiday trees, wreaths, mantels, centerpieces and specialty items decorated and donated by people in our community for the progressive silent auction.

Festival visitors can enjoy a cookie and beverage while a wide range of entertainment is performed by local musicians and kids can visit with Santa during scheduled times as noted online. Tickets are available at the door. There is also a raffle and special holiday ornament for purchase.

The Festival of Trees is the largest annual special event fundraiser for the Aspirus Health Foundation. “This is the perfect kickoff to the holiday season,” said Kim Smerda, Fund Development Specialist for the Aspirus Health Foundation. “It brings the community together for a common cause to help people in our community. Every age is invited to attend.”

“At the Festival of Trees, our committed volunteers, organizations and businesses turn Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center into a winter wonderland. We appreciate the creativity and generosity of the individuals, families and businesses who participate.”
