Joseph Eugene Zelazoski died Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the home of his son in Pelican Lake while under the care of Ministry Hospice and his family. He was 65 years old.

He was born August 16, 1954 in Antigo, son of the late Bernard and Eva (Mayo) Zelazoski. He married Diane Schuh on September 9, 1979 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel, and she survives.

Joseph was a 1972 graduate of Antigo High School. He was co-owner of Zelazoski Wood Products. During his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Zelazoski of Pickerel; a son, Grant (Rae) Zelazoski of Pelican Lake; a granddaughter, Bethany Kuczmarski of Pelican Lake; a sister, Mary (Jim) Nevinski of Omaha, NE; 4 sisters in law, Shirley Zelazoski, Terri Schabo, Gail (Chris) Johnson, and Marilyn (Jim) Jansen; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Zelazoski.

A private service will be held with interment in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
