FROM LANGLADE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

On Thursday, April 23rd, the Langlade County Economic Development Corporation will be offering a limited number of Emergency Response Loans to be used to support certain small business activities throughout Langlade County that have realized a significant financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many small and local businesses have been forced to endure temporary or permanent closures that has drastically altered their business operations and lay-off staff. Our small businesses are the economic backbone of our community and LCEDC wants to do everything it can to help our local partners keep the doors open and the lights running. LCEDC understands there are a wealth of programs and resources at the state and federal level, but not every business has the resources or experiences to access the programs. To assist with these
unprecedented challenges, LCEDC is making available the following program:

LCEDC Small Business Emergency Response Loan (SB-ERL):

LCEDC will provide $5,000 loans utilizing our small LCEDC Revolving Loan Fund with deferred payments and forbearance of interest until January 1, 2021, for eligible small businesses that experienced significant financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. LCEDC is attempting to make the loan application as simple and as quick as possible.

The funds are limited and will be reviewed and approved on a first come, first served basis.

To access the application, visit our website https://langladecountyedc.org/lcedc-small-business-emergencyresponse-loan/, or contact Angie Close by email [email protected] or call 715-623-5123.
