Susan C. Jacobs, 73

Susan C. Jacobs, of Gleason, died Monday, April 20, 2020, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill. She was 73 years old. She was born on December 27, 1946, in Antigo, a daughter of Benjamin and Della (Zirkle) Ullman. She married Walter Jacobs on August 10, 1968, at Lutheran Memorial Church in Gleason. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2012.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School. Susan was a beautiful and kind person who loved being a dairy farmer. She put her heart into caring for the animals and especially enjoyed visiting with children that came to the farm. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, baking and caring for her pets. Susan enjoyed spending time with her niece, Kathy and neighbor, Marge along with many other family and friends who stopped by.

Survivors include sons, Timothy Jacobs of Deerbrook and Jeffrey Jacobs of Gleason; sisters, Frances Schuman of Polar, Betty Wright of Illinois, Mary Rose Minton of Waupaca, Bridget Berg of Aniwa, Edith Lariden of Reedsburg and Clara Jean Roseborough of Deerbrook; brothers, Gust (Joyce) Ullman of Deerbrook, Julius Ullman of Deerbrook, Frank (Gail) Ullman of Antigo and Donald (Laurie) Ullman of Antigo; sisters-in-law, Melda Ullman of Waupaca, Linda Ullman of Deerbrook; brother-in-law, Donny Marten of Alabama.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Marjorie Marten and Grace Merwin; brothers, Charles, James, David, and infant brother, Jerry.

Due to the Wisconsin state guidelines on limited gatherings a private memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Anderson officiating. Burial will take place at Forestview Cemetery in the town of Vilas.
