Bobette “Bobbi” Jo Smith, 70

Bobette “Bobbie” Jo Smith died Thursday, May 14, 2020 at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. Bobbie was 70 years old.

Bobbie was born on June 9, 1949 in Milwaukee to the late Earl and Grace (Harteau) Schutts.

On August 21, 1965 she was united in marriage to Earl Smith at United Methodist Church in Antigo.

Bobbie worked at Olk’s Drug Store, McDonald’s and Johnson Electric Coil for 30 years, until her retirement.

Bobbie attended Antigo High School.

She was a member of United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping at Jack Lake, traveling, watching hummingbirds and orioles, and greatly treasured time with her family.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Earl, include a daughter; Tina (Jeff) Hubatch of Antigo, a son; Randy (Hayley) Smith of Antigo, grandchildren; Eric (Nicki) Hubatch of Antigo, Ashley (Justin) Grones of Antigo, Ethan (Abbie) Schroeder of West Salem, great grandchildren; Sadie and Adeline, sisters; Margaret Schutts of Hartford, Christine (Gary) Hoeck of Hartford, Bonnie (Bassel) Alsabki of Milwaukee, a brother; Donald (Linda) Schutts of Lakeside, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by two sisters; Patricia Weir and Cindy Short and two brothers-in-law; Ronald Weir and Kenneth Short.

A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be planned at a later date.
