ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS

Wednesday, June 9th

A subject came to the Safety Building to report that the back door that leads to the basement at an address on 5th Avenue had been kicked in. No entry had been gained to the building. The reporting person also told officers that they had been having problems with their flowers being removed.

Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on 2nd Avenue. The caller told officers that they were at a residence to mow the lawn for the owner. A party from across the street came over and said that no one was supposed to be there. The party then grabbed the caller off the lawn mower and held a fist up to their face.

Thursday, June 10th

Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on Center Street. There was an argument involving two adults and three children. The subjects told officers that they would try to get along.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 64. Officers received consent to search the vehicle. A subject was taken into custody.

Friday, June 11th

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at an address on Century Avenue.

Officers received a call from an area business on Superior Street reporting a gas drive-off in the amount of $49. The vehicle was described as a yellow pickup that left heading west. The male driver was described as having darker hair, with a beard, wearing a grayish shirt.

Officers stopped a vehicle at S. Superior Street and Hickory Street. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

Officers responded to a report of a three vehicle accident on Neva Road. Both the north and southbound lanes were shut down. The vehicles were towed.

Saturday, June 12th

Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on 5th Avenue. A male subject, medium build, bald, wearing shorts and a blue t-shirt, walking a dog, and who appeared under the influence was yelling, causing a disturbance. Officers warned the male subject and told him to move along.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject at 7th Avenue and Superior Street. A subject was taken into custody.

Officers responded to a report of an accident at Aurora Street and 8th Avenue. A vehicle had backed into another vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of a theft in progress at an area business on Hwy. 64. The two subjects had left going east on Hwy. 64. Officers would be reviewing the security video.

Officers responded to a report of a theft at an area business on Jerome Street.

Sunday, June 13th

Officers stopped a vehicle at Lincoln Street and 4th Avenue. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

 

 

LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

Wednesday, June 9th

Officers responded to a report of an accident with injuries at Cty. Rd. S and Loop Road. Officers located 2 male subjects in the ditch, but no vehicle. The vehicle was located at Cty Rd. S and Spring Road. The vehicle was towed. The subjects were transported for a blood draw and later released.

Officers assisted with an EMS call at an address on Combs Road. A male subject had flipped a four wheeler and there were injuries to two subjects. One subject had a possible concussion & broken color bone. The second subject possibly had some broken ribs, a hand injury and some head lacerations. The subjects were flown by helicopter to Langlade Hospital.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 52. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver’s PBT was .246. The vehicle came back as being stolen out of Green Bay. Two subjects were taken into custody.

A male and two other subjects came to the Safety Building to report that on Friday, June 4th, the male subject noticed that there were a lot of flies in his house on Cty. Rd. A. They went down to the basement and discovered a deer there that was rotting. He told officers that he did not put the deer there.

Sunday, June 13th

Officers responded to a report of a male subject lying on the golf course on Bass Lake Road. The subject was breathing and moving. The caller told officers that he was being taken to the pro shop. The subject left before law enforcement arrived.

Monday, June 14th

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft at an address on Center Street.

Officers responded to a call from a subject reporting that a cream colored Chevy Equinox, traveling northbound on Hwy. 45, was crossing the center line & fog lines with both tires. The caller told officers that the female driver seemed to be nodding off and that she then appeared to stop to vomit. Officers conducted a field sobriety test.  The female subject was dropped off. She told officers that she was going to get something to eat.

Tuesday, June 15th

Officers responded to a report of a two accident at Cty. Rd. B and Bogus Road. The Elcho Fire Department was on the scene. There were no major injuries.

Officers responded to a report of a one vehicle accident with injuries at Hwy. 55 and Poor Farm Road. The vehicle struck a tree and was smoking. Multiple fire departments responded. The driver was cited/referred for criminal operating after revocation.

Officers responded to a report of an accident at Cty. Rd. A and Schmidt Road.
