Antigo Area Community Food Pantry June 23rd 11am-1pm (Wed.) & June 25th 1pm-3pm (Fri.), 2120 Progress Blvd., Antigo (715) 623-1103. We ask that all individuals wishing to use the Food Pantry wait in cars, or outside and a volunteer will provide direction as to service. Our monthly donation focus for June will be – Chicken, beef, vegetable broth (low or no salt).
Elcho Area Community Food Pantry June 21st & June 28th 2:30-4:30pm (Mon.), June 23rd 4-6pm (Wed.), 11224 Antigo St., Elcho. You will receive pre-packed bags of basic food items. Tell the volunteer how many in your family and if you have a specific need for something. Thank you for your cooperation. Meet a Police K9 Officer June 21st 3-4pm Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont St., Antigo. Meet Natscho, a K9 officer with the Antigo Police Department. Learn about police dog training and what a K9 does at work, and then see a bite demonstration! Located outside the library in the grassy area north of the building. Monday’s Women’s Bike Ride June 21st & June 28th 5:30-7pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, lot F, 112 E. 5th Ave., Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! The Monday Night Women’s Bike Rides will typically meet in the Aspirus Hospital Parking Lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. Once a month, they will meet somewhere different in the county (underlined dates below). The alternative rides start at 5:45pm. Please email Mary Jo Filbrandt for directions and a route for these alternative rides. There will be up to groups with a 10-12 mile route and a 20-25 mile route. A bike helmet is required. JUNE: (21st Mueller’s Lake Ride) (28th Route 1); JULY: (5th NO RIDE) (12th Route 5) (19th Route 4) (26th Snag Lake Ride); AUGUST: (2nd Route 1) (9th Birnamwood Ride) (16th Route 5) (23th White Lake Ride) (30th Route 6). Concerts held every Monday & Thursday, June-August. In the event of severe weather, concerts are held at the Heinzen Pavilion in Peaceful Valley. Free admission. Music at the Depot – Lyle’s Band & More June 22nd 5:30pm White Lake Depot, Lake Street, White Lake. Lyle’s Band & More will be playing at the depot platform. There will be social distancing at the events. Food will not be available to purchase in 2021. The rain site will be at the Lake Pavilion.

Elcho Community Pavilion Grilled Pork Loin Chop Dinner June 23rd 5-7pm Jack Lamar Elcho Pavilion, N11283 Dorr St., Elcho. Grilled loin, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetable, dessert & coffee. Menu items are subject to change or substitutions. Rain or shine. Bar opens at 4pm. Serving food at 5pm. Cost $13. Open to the public, everyone is welcome.
Northern Roundup Car Show June 24-27 MC Festival Grounds, N5890 Cty. Rd. H, Gleason. Northern Roundup is a one of a kind hotrod event with something for every type of car enthusiast. Qualifying show vehicles will include Pre-1975 cars & motorcycles, Pre-1979 Trucks. Northern Round-Up’s vintage weekend includes not only classic cars and trucks but vintage camping, amazing music, minibike races, flame throwers, 1950’s style pinup contest, vendors, Car cruise and so much more! With pre-registration, it is only $20 for a weekend pass! Prices go up at the gate. Non-electric site $20. Only $40 can get you an electric site upgrade! Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run Races June 25th-27th Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, 10104 US Highway 8 W, Crandon. Crandon International Off-Road Raceway welcomes the Championship Off-Road with a full slate of PRO and Sportsman Class racers competing at the Forest County Potawatomi Community Brush Run Race Weekend. Our Brush Run races will feature three full days of on-track action. More than 250 teams will be competing in a wide variety of Pro and Sportsman classes for highly modified trucks, open-wheel buggies and UTVs. Crandon will welcome the largest field of unlimited Pro 2 and Pro 4 trucks in a decade for 2021, including the sport’s biggest stars from around the country. The on-track action will culminate late Sunday afternoon with the Forest County Potawatomi Community Cup race. Pitting the COR Pro 2 and Pro 4 classes together on the same track with a staggered start, the world’s best off-road drivers will be going door-to-door for one of the sport’s biggest prizes.
