Antigo Area Community Food Pantry July 28th 11am-1pm (Wed.) & July 30th 1pm-3pm (Fri.), 2120 Progress Blvd., Antigo (715) 623-1103. We ask that all individuals wishing to use the Food Pantry wait in cars, or outside and a volunteer will provide direction as to service. Elcho Area Community Food Pantry July 26th & August 2nd 2:30-4:30pm (Mon.), July 28th 4-6pm (Wed.), 11224 Antigo St., Elcho. You will receive pre-packed bags of basic food items. Tell the volunteer how many in your family and if you have a specific need for something. Thank you for your cooperation. Pickerel-Pearson Business Association Wine & 9 Golf Outing July 26th 2-6pm Quig’s Maplewood Golf Course, N9240 Hwy. 55, Pickerel. Come out to the golf course for a day of fun with the Pickerel-Pearson Business Association members. Shotgun start at 2pm with every twosome getting a bottle. Monday’s Women’s Bike Ride July 26th & August 2nd 5:30-7pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, lot F, 112 E. 5th Ave., Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! The Monday Night Women’s Bike Rides will typically meet in the Aspirus Hospital Parking Lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. Once a month, they will meet somewhere different in the county (underlined dates below). The alternative rides start at 5:45pm. Please email Mary Jo Filbrandt for directions and a route for these alternative rides. There will be up to groups with a 10-12 mile route and a 20-25 mile route. A bike helmet is required. (26th Snag Lake Ride); AUGUST: (2nd Route 1) (9th Birnamwood Ride) (16th Route 5) (23th White Lake Ride) (30th Route 6). Music in the Park – Fox Fire July 26th Food starting at 5:30pm; concerts start 6pm City Park West, 230 block of Aurora St., Antigo. Bring your lawn chairs & listen to the Music in the Park! Concerts held every Monday & Thursday, June-August. In the event of severe weather, concerts are held at the Heinzen Pavilion in Peaceful Valley. Free admission. There are additional concerts at select locations; please call or check the Antigo community calendar for dates & times.
Tuesday Geezer Bike Ride July 27th 9:30am Peaceful Valley Playground, 420 Field St., Antigo. The Tuesday Geezer bike rides start at 9:30am from the Peaceful Valley Playground, weather permitting. All are welcome. The group normally rides less traveled town and county roads. The distance depends on how far the participants want to go. Sometimes the group splits up for those who want to go shorter distances and those who might like longer rides. We also try to include areas with interesting vegetation and wildlife. Langlade County Fair July 28th– August 1st Langlade Co. Fairgrounds, 1633 Neva Rd., Antigo. Bring your family & enjoy a day of quality family time. Stroll through over 5,000 4-H exhibits, watch one of the many animal shows, witness fabulous entertainment on the two free stages & strolling entertainers on the midway. There are two buildings full of vendors showcasing their services & products along with plenty of food & drinks to enjoy. Wednesday Group Bike Ride July 28th 4pm Langlade County Courthouse, 800 Clermont St., Antigo. The Group Bike Ride meets in the parking lot of the Langlade County Courthouse. The ride leaves at 4pm and usually returns at about 6:30pm. Routes are determined by the weather and attendees. The length of the ride is approximately 30-40 miles. Elcho Music in the Park – Max Koepke Band July 28th 6pm The Jack Lamar Memorial/Elcho Community Pavilion, N11283 Dorr Street, Elcho. Admission is free. Food will be available to purchase starting at 5:30pm. All Elcho Music in the Park performances will be performed on the grass in front of the pavilion, rain or shine!

19U Class AA State American Legion Baseball Tournament July 30th – August 3rd Kretz Park, 224 3rd Ave., Antigo. For the first time in history, Antigo will host an American Legion Baseball State Tournament. Antigo will welcome seven regional champions from across the state for the double-elimination tournament at Kretz Brothers Park. For more information, email Alex at [email protected].
31st Annual Eland Fisheree July 31st 7am-3pm Eland Pond, Eland. Free fishing for ages 1-14, disabled and seniors. Seniors must have a license. There will also be door prizes, raffles & a bike giveaway. Also come out to see our newly added Drop Your Duck game and there will be a coin dig following the fisheree. Free fish cleaning will be available. There will be trophies for 1st & 2nd place in each age group for disabled and for senior participants. You can also buy tickets for a chance to win 2 tickets to a Packers/Bears game, $5 each.
Antigo Farmer’s Market July 31st 8am-Noon Heinzen Pavilion, 603 6th Avenue, Antigo. All produce is locally grown by the vendor who sells them. Shopping at the Antigo Farmer’s Market is a great way to get local, in season food, and make connections with the people that grew it.
9th Annual Deerbrook Rumble Motorcycle Ride July 31st 9:30am-11pm Held’s Bar, W13298 Cty. Rd. C, Gleason. The ride will start at 11am from Held’s Bar and ends at the MC Festival Grounds. This is a fundraiser for Never Forgotten Honor Flight. Held’s will open at 9:30am for registration. It is $25 per bike, $5 per passenger. RSVP welcome, but not required. Riders can leave any time, but the ride is scheduled to leave at 11am. You will receive route maps and a list of sponsor stops upon arrival. After a fun-filled day of cruising, return to the MC Festival Grounds at 6pm. ATVs/UTVs will have a separate poker run and will be joining back up with us at the MC Festival Grounds. Langlade County Tavern League Golf Outing August 2nd 10am-6pm Quig’s Maplewood Golf Course, N9240 Hwy. 55, Pickerel. The Langlade County Tavern League will be holding a golf outing on Monday, August 2, 2021, with check-in at 10am and a shotgun start at 11am. This is a 4 person scramble. It is $70 per person which includes 18 holes of golfing with a cart, dinner, prizes, raffles, and fun. Dinner includes ribs and chicken with veggies, roll, baked potato, and dessert.
