Antigo Police & Langlade County Sheriff Reports for 11/8/21

ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Wednesday, October 27th
Officers stopped a vehicle at 6th Avenue and Morse Street. A subject was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant and was referred for possession of methamphetamine.
Officers responded to a fire call at an address on Clermont Street.
Officers executed a warrant attempt at an address on Lincoln Street. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Langlade Hospital for medical clearance and then to jail.
Officers received a call from an area business on Hwy. 64 reporting a theft. A female subject had received a service at the business and had an outstanding bill for $80. She told them that she was going to the bank to get some money, but she never returned.
Officers received a call from a male subject at an address on 5th Avenue reporting a theft. He told officers that his door had been open while he was in the bathroom and he believed that someone came in and took his phone from his living room table. The incident had occurred within the last hour. There were no suspects.
Thursday, October 28th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at an area business on Neva Road. The male caller told officers that someone hit his vehicle in the parking lot.
Officers received a call from a female at an address on Martin Avenue reporting criminal damage. The caller told officers that there were two large scratches down the passenger side of her vehicle, two large scratches down the side of her roommate’s truck on the passenger side and also scratches on her neighbor’s vehicle as well.
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Century Avenue and Saratoga Street.
Saturday, October 30th
Officers stopped a vehicle at Willard Avenue and Neva Road. A subject was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay – operating while suspended.
Sunday, October 31st
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on Clermont Street.
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at Langlade Hospital.
Monday, November 1st
Officers responded to a welfare check at a residence in Antigo. An individual was located and found deceased in the home from apparent stab wounds. Law enforcement believed the death was a homicide and were searching for a person of interest.

Wednesday, October 27th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Cty. Rd. S and Cty. Rd. AA. The caller told officers that a vehicle was in the field and a female subject was in the field waving her arms. The female did not appear injured. The vehicle was towed.
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Division Lane and Crestwood Road. The male caller told officers that the vehicle was on its side. Mattoon EMS responded. The vehicle was towed.
Thursday, October 28th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Cty. Rd. A and Cty. Rd. S. A vehicle was in the ditch. The male driver told officers that he had fallen asleep. The vehicle was towed.
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Hwy. 45. The female caller told officers that her motorcycle had been stolen from a relative’s land on Friday, October 22nd. The female told officers that the bike had broken down and was left overnight. The day after it was stolen, they had seen the motorcycle posted on a buy and sell page on Facebook. The post on the page was asking if anyone knew who the bike belonged to. The bike had then been given to someone who stated that it was their bike. The caller told officers that she had all of the paperwork to prove that the motorcycle actually belonged to her.
Friday, October 29th
Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 55 reporting an intoxicated male subject that wanted to buy alcohol. The caller told officers that the male subject was very intoxicated and couldn’t even get out of his car which was parked in front of the business, still running. They told officers that the subject wanted more whiskey and was asking other people to get him whiskey. Officers transported the male subject to the Safety Building to wait for a ride, but when the subject’s ride came, that person had a breathalyzer reading of .108.
Officers responded to a report of an accident on Cty. Rd. P. The caller told officers that a new Chevy sedan was in the ditch and a female subject was trying to push it out. Officers arrested the driver for operating while intoxicated. The vehicle was towed.
Saturday, October 30th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. C.
Sunday, October 31st
Officers received a report of disorderly conduct at an address on Hwy. 45. The male caller told officers that he was out marking trees with the permission of the land owner when a male subject and his son started threatening him because they were upset that he was marking trees on their hunting land. The caller stated that he had emailed the landowner to advise them of the conflict.
Monday, November 1st
Officers responded to a report of an accident with injuries at Hwy. 47 & Hwy. 45. Multiple fire departments responded. A subject was taken to the hospital. The vehicle was towed.
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Hwy. 52. The caller told officers that the day before, around 3:00PM a drill was stolen. The caller told officers that they had a picture of a female subject stealing the drill. The subject was taken into custody.
Officers responded to a report of criminal damage at an address on Country Aire Lane. The caller reported having four bullet holes in their shed that looked like they came from the road. They told officers that they did not observe anyone in the area who is not supposed to be there. Photos were taken.
Officers received a call from a male subject at an address on Valley Vista Road reporting that his wallet had been stolen at a Halloween party on 10/30/21. He told officers that the wallet had contained $304 in cash, cards and identification. He gave officers the name of a possible suspect.
Tuesday, November 2nd
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Western Avenue and Barske Road. Property damage only.
