Children’s Book Week

FOR THE ANTIGO TIMES
The Antigo Public Library will be celebrating Children’s Book Week November 8 -14 with a special book-based scavenger hunt: Where in Antigo is Ms. Ada?
Youth services librarian Ada Demlow will be recording story readings and book talks all around town. Children are invited to watch the readings and figure out where in town she is. Everyone who guesses at least 8 of the 10 places will be entered in a drawing to win one of the books she shares.
“This will be a fun way to celebrate both books and our community,” Demlow said. “Children ages 3 and older are encouraged to join the challenge,” she added.
To participate, families should stop by the library and pick up a challenge card or complete it on our reading challenge website at https://antigopl.beanstack.org.
Children’s Book Week was created by Every Child A Reader, a national non-profit that celebrates children’s books and reading. You can learn more about them at www.everychildareader.net.
