13 year old Antigo boy raises childhood cancer awareness while fighting his own battle

Posted

FOR ANTIGO TIMES

Eli Kassler was diagnosed two years ago with Leukemia and has been undergoing treatment since then.  Eli has recognized the need to support and raise awareness of childhood cancer.  He has started a non-profit organization named bELIeve15.  Eli has been raising money to give soft sheets to kids on the cancer ward, wagons of necessities to newly diagnosed children and adventures to children in treatment.  With the support of his bELIeve15 team, Eli also organizes blood drives, bone marrow registry events and has given over $14,000 to pediatric cancer research.

You can learn more about Eli and bELIeve15 at bELIeve15.com.

Eli's Unite & Fight 1K-5K-10K and Community Breakfast is one of his biggest fundraisers.  The event will be September 21, 2019 in Antigo and he is hoping you will join him for this amazing event.  In addition to the 1K-5K-10K run/walk, the Knights of Columbus have generously offered to cook the Community Breakfast for this fundraiser again this year.  Please help get the word out about the amazing work Eli is doing and encourage your friends and family to sign up today! We would really appreciate anything our readers can do help raise awareness for this amazing cause and this amazing young man!!
