AHS Prep Hoops

Antigo High School’s Scotty Hagerty is a member of the 2025 Prep Hoops 16u State Champion UTC Fire. The team coached by Omarii Johnson swept through the tournament to win the gold ball trophy. Starting Friday night with a 72-54 victory over Chapman West Basketball Academy. Next up on Saturday morning was the Wisconsin Playmakers Appleton Premiere team, whom they defeated 81-58. UTC Fire took on tournament favorite All-Wisconsin in the quarterfinals, registering a 64-51 win. Sunday in the Semi-finals, the UTC Fire pulled out a 65-63 victory in a back-and-forth battle with Wisconsin PHD 16u. In the finals, the team was able to hold off the Wisconsin 26ers for a 78-71 win to become State Champions.
