Andree Wick, 91

Andree Wick, of Antigo, died Saturday, November 30, 2019, at The Bay at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 91 years old. She was born on February 8, 1928, in St. Dizier, France, a daughter of Marcell and Suzanne (Hinderschiette) Burtaux. She married Richard Wick on April 29, 1946, in St. Dizier, France. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1981.

She was a graduate of the Victor Hugo Women's Grade School and High School in France.

She left France after her marriage and lived in Merrill for three years before moving to Antigo.

Mrs. Wick worked for Wicks Alignment Service in Antigo from 1960-1971 a business owned and operated by her husband Richard. She also worked at Sheldon's for 24 years starting out as a translator then working in the plant. She retired in 1996.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and its Dorcas Society in Antigo. She enjoyed knitting and gifted many of her knitting projects.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Umland of Antigo, Diana (Mark) Koszarek of Antigo; son, Richard G. (Jutta) Wick of Kingman AZ; four grandchildren: Dr. Michael (Michelle) Umland, Chippewa Falls, Matt (Kasii) Umland, Muskego, Brett (Sayira) Mikkelson, Panama, Andree (Curt) Brushaber, Medford; a granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Umland; great-grandchildren David Umland, Dustin Umland and friend Kelsie, Katelin (Kyle) Umland-Varnson, Peyton and Tyler Umland, Michelle Umland (fiancée Matt), Marnie Umland, Kimberly Mikkelson and friend Raul, Brett Jr. and Brandon Mikkelson, Dylan Wickersheim, Axel and Aurelia Brushaber and step-great grandchildren Jonathan Walker, Erin Walker (fiancé Mitch), Lauren Walker; great-great-grandchildren Kaeden and Lydia Umland, and Raul Lopez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Wick; son-in-law Dennis Umland; grandson Mark Umland; brother, Guy Burtaux; brother-in-law Walter Wick.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Karolus officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
