Annabelle L. "Annie” Winn, age 89, formerly of Elcho, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Friendly Village in Rhinelander under the care of Ascension Hospice and her family.
Annie was born December 11, 1929 to the late Frank and Leona (Weber) Kollmann.
On June 16, 1951 She was united in marriage to Sperry Winn in Fond du Lac, WI. Sperry preceded her in death on April 3, 2019.
The couple resided at Neva Lake and later moved to Elcho.
Annie was a member of Arbutus Lutheran Church in Pearson.
A homemaker, Annie’s family was her focus and her love. While raising her daughters, she enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher. Her love of family only grew as grandchildren arrived. “Nanny” as she was called was the grandmother that loved to join the grandchildren in whatever fun they were having.
She was a lover of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, working in the yard, birdwatching, and her Koi pond.
Above all, was her love for her husband and family.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Susan “Suz” Winn of Pickerel, Sandi (Jim) Ramaker of Virginia, and Patti (Greg) Karras of Janesville; 8 grandchildren, Ashley (Adam Behm) Winn Behm, Erin (Chad) Klish, Jordana (Keith) Zdanowicz, Shannon (Mitch) McCoin, Mitchell (Michelle) Ramaker, Nathan (Erin) Karras, Joshua (Heather) Karras, and Jacob (Amy) Karras; 17 great grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Frank, Jr. (Donna) Kollmann of Van Dyne, WI, Delhardt (Joan) Kollmann of Oshkosh, WI, and James (Marlene) Kollmann of Elcho.
In addition to her parents and husband, Annie was preceded in death by a son-in-law Butch Jorgensen.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, November 17 at 2:00 PM at Arbutus Lutheran Church. Deacon Pam Werth will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the service at the church. Interment will be in Arbutus Lutheran Church Cemetery at a later date.
